  I am truly happy to call 2255 Wisconsin Ave NW home. Kamrin, Kyle, Alex, and Sandra are the wonderful managers and keepers of this apartment complex and they maintain the residence beautifully. Coming from 8 years of mold exposure and horrible owners, 2255 has been a true breath of fresh air.

  Terrible customer service after move-out — they stopped replying to my emails about a security deposit issue. Unlike other apartments, they don’t have 24/7 reception, which is fine, but the real problem is that even during regular office hours it’s nearly impossible to find anyone in the office to help with resident concerns.

  I lived here while I finished grad school at Georgetown & am very glad I did, regardless of some cons. Pros: It is really convenient to the metro bus & GUTS bus, CVS, Whole Foods, TJs, etc. Safe with the added doors/keys, a nice courtyard, just added a gym, & redid the lobby into a study space. There is in unit W/D & central heat/AC which I really wanted. This didn’t apply to me, but it is also pet friendly which is rare. The rooftop is really pretty overlooking the Naval Observatory — I studied & ate takeout up there a few times. Pest control is taken care of, I only had a few random pests when I was out of town & they were dead when I found them (knowing DC, this is amazing). Maintenance is very timely & was very helpful any time I had an issue! Also, Kamrin, the manager of 2255, is really great. Cons: Applying for the apartment with corporate was a bit of a disaster, so be sure to apply early & potentially go to their downtown office. It’s DC so it’s very expensive / smaller apartments & you have some sound from neighbors or other things based on your apartment number/location. This is honestly very dependent on your neighbors, as my last month I had some really loud/inconsiderate people (college students?) move-in on my floor & above me. I also had an apartment facing the Whole Foods parking lot so I had a lot of alley noise, but the bright car lights were the annoying part. All of that said, if I move back for medical school & want to be in DC proper, I told Kamrin I would definitely return to 2255!

  Humble professional staff, Easy access to market places and sports facilities in George Town and Safe and Decent Apartments make us happy all the time. The first snow in DC this Winter :-)
