The exterior of the units needs attention. There are some areas that look ok and others that are neglected. I asked for the inside of my daughters unit to be painted and never heard back. The work was never done.

The outpost is one of the worst places to live. Even though they respond to negative comments disagreeing ANY student who has lived at the outpost or knows someone who has can tell you a horror story. Despite the lack of safety and constant police surveillance because of this the theft is unbelievable. Packages are constantly stolen with no way of tracing them. The outpost communicates this is ‘untrue’ but speak to anyone who lives there on a main road and they will tell you differently.
What they do not communicate is across from conifer street is a homeless shelter and across from the other main roads are heavy construction. If you don’t have loud noises early in the morning you will have unwanted encounters late in the evening. Highly suggest purchasing pepper spray and extra theft protections for vehicles. It is quite common for vehicles to be broken into and confrontations to occur.
Focusing on the living, one of the worst construction jobs. In the winter we ran space heater 24/7 on pipes and were often without water for multiple hours a morning. The outpost did nothing but give us more space heaters and then charge us for them at the end of the lease. Further our electricity bill was astronomical due to all the space heaters and heat running to prevent pipes from bursting.
The pool and hot tub are nice but at the end of the year the hot tub turns green. Also a lot of facilities are closed quite frequently.
For students safety, do not live on these properties.

Crime has gotten bad in the area and it doesn’t seem like the staff or property manager care. The apartments themselves are getting outdated as well. Avoid!
