  This little cabin was perfect for a short getaway to the mountains. It had everything we wanted for a great price - same cost as a hotel room in town, but we got a deck with a lovely view, ability to open windows and enjoy the mountain air, privacy, and a nice little kitchen. Highly recommend!

  Beautiful and very clean cabin during are stay! Enjoyed the fire places and all the scenery outside plus the trails from the house. Most of all the animals from the porch.

  Stunning Golf Course Unit with Mountain Views This beautiful unit sits right on the golf course with breathtaking views of both the fairways and mountains. We spotted elk and deer regularly during our stay and loved being able to step out for long walks directly from the property. Whether relaxing on the back deck or inside by the expansive wall-to-wall windows, the views were absolutely gorgeous. The unit features two bedrooms (each with mountain and/or golf course views), plus a beautifully renovated bathroom and kitchen that made our stay comfortable and convenient. Our family particularly appreciated the attached garage—perfect for protecting the car and storing all our gear. The location was ideal, with easy access to downtown, the lake, and the recreation center. Being on the free bus line to town and the park was an added bonus. We highly recommend this unit to anyone seeking a relaxing, scenic getaway.

  We stayed 3 nights at Manchin's Cottages in the Pines. Our cottage was immaculate and full of vintage charm. When they say the kitchen is fully appointed, they mean it. I've lived most of my adult life without benefit of a cake server but this kitchen had one. On the first day we couldn't get the oven to work. I made one quick phone call and it was fixed when we got back from our hike. The cottages are technically inside the park but accessed by car from Estes. The beauty is you can hike right into the park from there, no timed entry, no driving, no parking, just hiking. At the same time you are 6 minutes from restaurants and groceries. Our visit was in the fall. Many of the cabins were occupied but there weren't any kids around. I suspect in the summer it is a bit more animated with the playground in full use but during our stay it was complete peace and quiet. We dearly hope to go back one day.

  Loved this cabin. It was beautiful and quiet. Inside was bright and open. Things that made it great were: the fireplace, the large bathroom with both jetted tub (although, how do you turn on the jets?) & the walk-in shower, double sinks, and the hot tub. This cabin is the highest point on the ranch, surrounded by mountains and had a trail right behind it. We loved that it was pet-friendly. Proximity was 30ish mins to Estes Park & 45ish mins to Bear Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park. The check-in process was a little confusing - we went to the office in the lodge and they told us to just use the door code in our email. Sure, seems simple, but that’s not a normal check-in process. This isn’t AirBNB. Would recommend making this process more clear/adapting to more common check-in processes. I find that a “hot tub” fee is obnoxious when it is included in the listing - I hate secret fees. Would highly recommend adding a table or two for the chairs to set food and drinks. Appreciated the mini-fridge and coffee maker. The water tasted bad - perhaps offer bottles of water, or at least a vending machine to buy them? All of that aside - the only reasons I’m not giving this a 5 are (and these are simple fixes): 1-the front door latch is a PAIN. I know it looks rustic, but it was challenging to open and lock from the outside due to the wood warping with the weather. We had trouble locking the door every single time. Very frustrating. Just put a normal door knob on, PLEASE. 2-the vanities in the bathroom have too low a profile - stubbed toes many times:( Please raise the vanities to the proper 4-5 inches. Whoever designed these has no business designing.
