Welcome to The Citizen on Constitution, a modern apartment community offering stylish living in the heart of Colorado Springs. Designed with comfort and convenience in mind, our spacious one-, two-, and three-bedroom homes feature sleek finishes, open layouts, and private balconies with breathtaking mountain views.
Beyond your front door, enjoy a collection of resort-style amenities, including a sparkling pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and inviting social spaces perfect for work or relaxation. Our pet-friendly community also features a dedicated dog park and pet spa, ensuring every member of your household feels at home.
The rooms themselves are nice, but the overall living conditions in Building B are unacceptable. Parking is a constant hassle, and the elevator consistently smells like urine. It is not a one-time issue. The smell is present almost every time you use it, and it makes the building feel neglected.
The entrance area is often dirty, with leaves and debris left for days. Move-ins are completely unorganized, and people FULLY back their cars and moving trucks into the entrance. This blocks the doorway and makes it difficult and sometimes impossible for residents to get in or out.
The trash situation is also out of control. The bins overflow often, and many residents ignore the valet trash rules by leaving bags on the floor instead of placing them in the container. Trash ends up in walkways and on balconies because there is not enough enforcement or upkeep.
Someone even removed the "No Smoking" stickers in the elevator and wrote profanity on the walls, which adds to the already unpleasant environment.
Additionally, if you make any marks on the walls and attempt to clean them with water, the paint and texture come off with it. The floors are done cheaply and tend to pop up
The property managers are super nice, but I have not seen any real improvements. For the price of living here, basic cleanliness and maintenance should be a priority, starting with the urine-soaked carpet in the elevator.

Great apartment and it was an absolute pleasure working with Jess who has been the best help ever since I expressed interest in renting. Thank you!

Great place with a lot of amenities. Brand new buildings are nice though the hallways and elevators still need a bit of work but the rooms themselves are solid. I am looking forward to living here

The office staff has been more than fair with my experience so far. They have gone above and beyond from the time I first checked out the complex this summer.
My only issue is the app for the trash pickup doesn't work. Otherwise trash has been picked up when I place it out.
I live on the 3rd floor so I don't have to listen to anyone above me walking around. I've heard 1st and 2nd floor people can definitely hear the people above them.
My needs have been met so far. No major issues since moving in.
For people looking for an apartment this is the far east part of colorado springs. I work on this part of town so im cool. Plenty of eating places and king soopers right across the street.
