  I’m writing this to share my disappointment with Oakwood Homes regarding my earnest money refund. I was explicitly told that my refund would be mailed to me, yet I have not received anything. Since then, I have repeatedly reached out through email, voicemail, and text messages to the representative and the manager handling my refund request. Despite multiple attempts, I have received no response at all, not even an acknowledgment. This level of communication is extremely unprofessional and has left me feeling ignored and ghosted by the company. I entered this process in good faith and expected Oakwood Homes to honor the agreement and communicate transparently. Instead, I’m left waiting indefinitely for money I was told would be returned, with zero updates. I hope someone at Oakwood Homes sees this and corrects the situation immediately, because as it stands, I cannot recommend this company to future buyers.

  When I started looking for a home, I didn’t know which one I would want. My realtor Carlos, introduced me to Bolo & he showed me a few houses here in banning Lewis. But I fell in love with the coach house. Bolo helped me with the process, he made it smoothly. The house was still getting built when I decided to go for it. He kept me updated and answered every question I have. He even when out of his way to make sure I get what I wanted in my house. Been here for almost a month and I’m loving it. It’s perfect for a first time home buyer like me. They even made sure, even tho he was far and not there on the day of closing to make it memorable for me since it was also the day of my birthday. So thanks bolo and Oakwood!

  Bolo in sales was great with communication during the process, the build was done in line with the timeline they gave us when we contracted, and my clients were able to get a fantastic rate with Oakwoods in house lender.
