  I’ve been living at Castlewood for a while now, and the new property manager, Tania, has made a huge difference. She’s professional, responsive, and genuinely cares about the residents here. Anytime I’ve had a question or concern, she’s handled it quickly and with a positive attitude. The staff who handle maintenance and cleaning are always on top of things, friendly, and keep the community looking great. Castlewood has been a great place to live, and with this new management team, it’s only getting better. Highly recommend!

  New management in 2025. Office is supposed to be open from 9:5:30, they don’t show up till after 10:00am and leave early. I went there today to talk to them at 4:30 and they are gone and it says closed on door though it says the hours are 9-5:30. They don’t give a shit about the tenants here, many complain about the unsafe and unsecured parking garage where cars get windows smashed constantly. Seen a car get all 4 tires stolen while inside garage and it was on blocks. But they have no cameras just signs posted all over that they aren’t responsible for vehicle break ins. I personally have had 4 windows in my car smashed in 2 years. I asked if they would break my lease since my property isn’t safe and they said it would cost 3000.00$ fee to leave early. Don’t rent here. Update: Got out finally, they just sent me notice that they are keeping all of my 900$ deposit even though I cleaned. They made up documents from a cleaning service and carpet cleaning service both made up with their address charging for cleaning and carpet cleaning 500 total. Then a 400 $ charge for water and garbage for 2 weeks? Such an unethical company, don’t give them your money, you won’t get any back.

  Fantastic apartment, with good amenities and great location. Walking distance to a Safeway and Walnut Creek Plaza. The property managers are friendly, attentive and address issues quickly. Highly recommended!
