    I’ve tried complaining in a more direct way, asked for the manager, owner etc. and was shyed away. So here’s my honest review… Working with this lender has been extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I’m the listing agent on a transaction that has now been delayed more than two weeks due to a lack of communication and follow-through. The loan officer, Jose Strickland, repeatedly promises updates but fails to provide them, rarely answers his phone if he does he says “I’m working on it”, and even admitted he didn’t understand what a Mello-Roos (special assessment) tax was—something EVERY California loan officer should be familiar with. His lack of knowledge nearly caused an issue with the buyer’s debt-to-income ratio and is continuously creating unnecessary stress for everyone involved. If you’re assigned to work with this lender, I strongly recommend requesting someone else. It will be a miracle if this deal closes at this rate.

    Writing on behalf of a family member. Her loan was not properly closed when it was transferred and now it shows as if she has 2 loans against the same property. She has been calling your company for over a week as she is trying to refinance. She needs help ASAP.
