I moved out of La Regencia recently, and thank god I did because it was the WORST place I have ever lived. I would move back to my college dorms over this place in a heartbeat. I only lived there for one year, but it seemed like every other month that I was there, there was a new notice on my front door telling me that, due to water issues or some other issues, maintenance needed to come into the apartment to fix them on so-and-so day whether there was anyone at the apartment that day/time or not. Once or twice would not have been a big deal, but it is SO weird and intrusive for this to be happening 5+ times in one year. And then there's the Amazon lockers. They are so difficult to find if you don't already know where to go, and there are no signs posted anywhere to help couriers find the lockers. More than once, a package of mine has just been left next to the pool or in a random dirt patch in the neighborhood because the courier doesn't know where to go. And then, of course, the package is nowhere to be found when I go look for it. The first time it happened, I called the leasing office asking if they could maybe bring the package in from outside, but they said they couldn't help me. Also, because there are so many college students living in these apartments, it is so noisy during weekend nights. I am not usually a light sleeper, but I would constantly be woken up by groups of students chatting outside my (closed) window at 2-3 am!! The cheap price of these apartments is NOT WORTH IT!!!

I scheduled a tour at La Regencia, walked in the rain for 20 min to my appointment, and was told at the leasing office that they “don’t do tours on rainy days”. It’s been raining since 6am. No email, no text, no notice before I walk into the office. Huge red flag, will not be moving here, and I advise you not to either.

I caught a rat in the apartment. Management kindly put sticky rat traps. All cleaning, sanitation done by us. We still see the rats run by the courtyard sometimes. Edit 10/30 They are going thru the infrastructure - tearing wires, eating into couch. Look at the size of the thing we caught this weekend. + 1 month since we had this problem and still not fixed.
