- MCMike CampbellSep 7, 20231.0I would hope if you use this escrow company to close on real estate that they would be better. I used them for escrow on a business. It was a terrible experience. I wish they would have just said they couldn't do it from the onset. They came up with many 'suggested' amendments to the agreement, and most were insane. I almost walked away from the deal altogether, due to a very poor escrow agent. I did end up buying the business and had over-funded escrow. The final straw - they refused to send me the money I had overpaid until I signed a 9 page document releasing them from all liability. Just one example of the many insane practices they use. I just requested a check, and they sent me a check without me signing the 9 pager. They are ridiculous, unprofessional, and they lack business experience or acumen. Additionally, they are about 3 times the cost of other escrow agents who have done much better for me over the years.
