A select community of luxury condos; including a tennis court, pool, spa, fitness center, and including washer/dryer hookups in each unit. With the abundance of recreational choices, you'll exercise your options often at Camino Creek. We are ideally located close to schools, shopping, and entertainment.
During our 7-month stay at Camino Creek Apartments while relocating to the state and in the process of buying a house, we encountered several issues that led us to consider moving out much earlier than planned. Despite initially intending to stay for a full year, our experience at Camino Creek Apartments was disappointing due to the following reasons:
First and foremost, the lack of proper ventilation and high humidity levels in the apartments were unbearable. The musty smell and persistent mold growth in some areas made our living conditions uncomfortable and unhealthy (see images). One of the rooms became unlivable due to the severe mold problem, and we were forced to vacate it and use it for storage only. It was a major inconvenience and impacted our quality of life, causing respiratory health issue for all including our small children.
Furthermore, the utilities arrangement at Camino Creek Apartments is the strangest one we've encountered. The cost of trash, water, and sewer are averaged out and distributed among the residents, resulting in higher bills for us when other units in the complex used more utilities. This was especially unjust for environmentally conscious tenants like us who made efforts to minimize water and trash usage, only to be burdened with additional expenses due to others' excessive usage. One should only pay for own use of utilities, and should not be subsidizing everyone else in the complex.
Furthermore, the location of the complex was less than ideal. It was situated in a busy and noisy part of town, with constant drag racing and cars doing donuts on the high school parking lot across the street, as well as racing cars up and down Snyder Ln. The constant noise and disturbance affected our peace and quiet, making it difficult to enjoy our living space.
Lastly, the initial promise of easy sublet possibilities turned out to be false. When we tried to sublet our apartment, the office staff was uncooperative and obstructive, despite us finding a sublet ourselves and paying up the $300 lease-end fee. Dealing with the unhelpful office staff added further difficulties to the already frustrating process.
In conclusion, our experience at Camino Creek Apartments was disappointing. The lack of ventilation, mold issues, uneven utilities arrangement, absence of a kids' playground, noisy location, inconsistent rent payments, and unhelpful office staff for subletting were significant issues that impacted our stay negatively. We would caution others to carefully consider these issues before choosing to lease at Camino Creek Apartments.
PS: It is worth mentioning that Camino Creek Apartments has a surprisingly high vacancy rate, even in a competitive rental market. It seems that many people choose to avoid this place, which is something we wish we had known beforehand.

Its an ok place , nice pool and a spot in the apartment for washing machine and drying machine. Not pet friendly towards dogs. Alot of cats run around the place and poop everywhere.

We have lived here for 3 years - the complex is clean, great neighbors - a lot of college kids, but not a lot of noise.
Krista (the manager) and Joe (the maintenance guy) are amazing! Our dishwasher stopped working, we had a brand new one in 2 days. They are super quick to respond to any issue and the problem is fixed correctly.
The only reason we are moving is because we needed a bigger place for the kids. We looked at a lot of other places and this is by far the best! Sad to leave
