- BWBrian WittSep 26, 20255.0Mortgage One made the home buying experience worthwhile! We funded today and have keys in hand for my first condo. Something I didn’t think I could say in my lifetime. I am a homeowner! It started with a simple question: Can I afford to buy a home? I thought it wouldn’t hurt to ask so I hit that send button. And froze. In fear. Into the darkness of what I had just done. Next day my loan officer reached out to me and asked if I was interested in buying a home. He started off by explaining what options were available for first-time homebuyers. He asked about income and debts. I explained that I was finishing up a debt management plan and have student loans worth $62k. As we walked through the buying process we found a down payment assistance program that I qualified for. My FICO barely qualified for FHA loan and so we committed to a pre-approval loan letter. Then he hooked me up with my real estate broker. After several homes we found my condo. I never felt pressured by anyone during the process. When I doubted or was confused, Mortgage One was there to give me perspective. I’m glad to have worked with them and will refer them clients in the future. I know they have my back and will help me refinance when interest rates drop a fair deal. I am blessed and happy with Mortgage One. Great team and lifelong partnership.
