    I’ve been living here a year and a half and in the past 6 months the utilities have nearly tripled and the management has refused to determine if there’s a leak or anything going wrong in the building. The utilities are now $250 a month (only for water, trash, and sewage, not even for gas and electricity which is the tenants responsibility and adds another $100-200 a month) for one person in a small 1 bedroom apartment, I spoke to my neighbors and they are paying over $350 a month. Many people in the building are fed up and leaving, don’t bother wasting your time and money unless you want to be paying nearly over $500 the rental price in utilities and extra fees. I would be happy to change my review if management took swift action to determine the issue and get it resolved and is able to prove they are not profiting off the tenants utility fees. Editing my review in light of the comment below from management: I reached out in July and was told you would not check for any leaks to determine if there’s an issue with the building. I also sent an email again last week detailing the issues and requested an itemized breakdown of all utility bills the building receives and exactly how they are being divided by the tenants to ensure accuracy and accountability in your utility billing. These are basic tenant rights under CA law. I have not received any answer from anyone.

    I have lived here for two years and had a wonderful time. The location is perfect and close to Playa Vista downtown. The maintenance was always very quick and prompt. I never had any of packages stolen. Yes, the apartments are a bit old but that’s almost all of LA. Though I would request the property management to consider painting the exterior of the complex, it just looks a bit ugly from the outside but the inside is recently renovated. I would come back to stay here if I move back to LA.

    Really enjoyed my time at Playa Marina. Apartments are lovely and super close to so many amazing restaurants and services around Playa Vista.

    The Decron maintenance team is amazing. Rafael was very nice, and completed the issues super fast! The cleaning staff is so great and friendly, and take good care of the property.
