As we transitioned between selling our old home and moving into a new one, we needed a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. 888 Hilgard was exactly what we needed, and more. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Nedra, the manager, whose professionalism and warmth made us feel instantly at ease. Nedra's dedication to her work is evident in every aspect of this luxury apartment complex. She was always available, consistently ensuring that everything was perfect for us during our stay. The apartments themselves are spotless and beautifully furnished, providing a luxurious and comfortable living environment. It's clear that great attention to detail is given to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and comfort. We felt at home immediately, which greatly alleviated the stress of our transition period. One of the most impressive aspects of our stay was how Nedra went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Her friendly demeanor and proactive approach makes our time here seamless and enjoyable. She truly made 888 Hilgard a "home away from home" for us. We currently have a bid on a new home, but knowing we have such a wonderful place to stay in the meantime made all the difference. The building is way over priced, and the management is terrible. Not to mention, the hallways smell like cigarette smoke, yuck! I personally had a few friends who have been previous tenants at Hilgard, and every time I would visit their units, you can clearly see that the landlord does not take care of the building. The other negative reviews are true! The building is infested with termites and mold! Don’t bother viewing this property and lease from Hilgard at your own risk.

You really can't beat the location right across the street from the botanical gardens, and so close to UCLA. The neighborhood is very walkable which was a great transition for us coming from NYC. Doug was fantastic and responsive as the on site manager. I would definitely stay here again if ever needed.
