  I love the flowers and the landscaping, but there is a massive issue with mosquitos. You can’t go outside without getting absolutely eaten by them. They likely come from the flooding that happens every single night. They’re always working on the sprinkler system but because of the way the sidewalks are, all of the water will always pool so bad that you actually HAVE to walk in the wet grass at night to get anywhere, because it’s going to get you less wet than the sidewalks, which hold several inches of water in places. The sidewalks need redone entirely to prevent this, along with some form of proper drainage. The mosquitoes are a nightmare and need to be eliminated. The roaches aren’t ideal either, but they do seem to spray for those and keep those under control (ish).

  I recently went through a move-in process here and compared to my other experiences previously, this was incredibly smooth and went to be beyond my expectations. The property managers, Monica and Lorenzo, were incredibly supportive throughout the entire process. From the tour where Monica took the time to show me additional units, to the application process where both her and Lorenzo answered countless questions, all the way to the move-in process where I got to meet the maintenance guy, John, who was incredibly welcoming; all of this made me feel like this was the right place for me. In addition to this, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my apartment. The apartment is clean, spacious, and receives a lot of good sunlight, and it came with a wide parking spot, nearby laundry, and a nice fitness center that I happen to be right across the street from. Overall, I definitely recommend giving this place a tour to see for yourself if you’re interested! -from my Yelp review

  Awful management, terrible pricing for what youre getting. So many better options all over fresno and clovis, seriously keep looking dont make the mistake we did with choosing scottsmen.

  I actually liked my apartment and the experience for the most part. The pool is bigger and deeper than 90% of apt pools out there. The gym has actual dumbbells you can use. The biggest issue with this place is the age of the appliances. If you're considering moving in, be aware that they will do EVERYTHING they can to avoid replacing an appliance. I don't really mind having an older finnicky dishwasher because it was just for a year. But when I got the first AC bill that our 25 year old AC unit produced I almost had a heart attack. We kept the it bouncing between 78-81 degrees during last summer and early fall and we had 4 months of $250 - $300 power bills that were a direct result of the compressor's age and inefficiency. It wasn't that it didn't blow cold or that it was on more than other units, it's that when it drew much more current while on than modern units. If you're thinking of moving here I would just make sure you lay eyes on every appliance and including the AC and make sure they are newer.
