  I lived here for 5 years. While it was pricey- you get what you pay for. Friendly neighbors, nice amenities, my friends and family always liked to visit and commented every time how nice it was- especially the club house which is free to book for personal gatherings as long as you clean up after yourself. Maintenance was always responsive and did their best to take care of any issues we had as soon as possible. Ronni was always friendly and communicative. I always felt safe coming and going at various times, even in the middle of the night. The surrounding neighborhood was also quiet and felt safe. Never worried about my car getting broken into. I noticed there are a lot of other long time tenants as well and I think that says something. I’ve lived at other apartments and the service, amenities, and safety were not as wonderful as Dartmouth. The only reason we left was because we purchased a home. 10/10 check it out! Ps, would have left a review sooner but it is not good practice to publicly post where you live because there are some weirdos out here.

  The lease agreement says that "One thing that you can be sure of is that "dirt" and "soil" in any form is not to be considered "normal wear and tear".” If the living room carpet becomes soiled from traffic going over it, it is considered dirt and must be cleaned at your expense. Any smudges or dirt on the wall requires the entire apartment to be repainted at your expense. A 10% overhead is charged on all charges. The move out procedure includes "vinyl floors must be stripped of wax and re-waxed." I moved out early and paid the rent until the apartment was re-rented, then they sent me a statement saying that I owed them over $15,000 and sent me to a collection agency when they, in fact, owed me a refund for rent paid after they had re-rented the apartment. I have rented a dozen apartments and have never not received my full security deposit back. Not so at Dartmouth Tower at Shaw.

  Love living here. Staff is great. I have yet to use some of the amenities but it is a great place to live! I love it! Thanks to Renee Rick Francis Susan! You guys are great!

  The apartment complex looks great and could be a wonderful place to live. Problem is, the owners were more concerned about earning the highest profit possible than keeping tenants happy. They constantly raised the rent and had great excuses every time. Neighbors that stayed there for a while reported this was a pattern of behavior. They were super micro managers and ridiculously strict about mundane things. Loyalty was not rewarded and happy tenants weren't a priority Lastly, there was a disproportionate amount of managers constantly being fired Or replaced.
