  We worked with Alex for about 9 months before we bought our home. The market was crazy high, inventory was low but Alex was able to guide us through the experience with his knowledge of the area, his relationship with other realtors, contractors and locals to make the experience a very positive one for our family.   We’ve worked with Alex twice now- first to purchase a home, then to sell a home. Alex is not only highly knowledgeable of the Santa Cruz area and housing market, but a genuinely nice person that has made the home purchasing and selling process as pleasant as possible. Alex quickly picked up on my husband and my style for interaction. He was patient and resourceful, but assertive when needed to jump on the right opportunities.   I recently closed escrow on a cute little beach condo in the Capitola Jewel Box. It's the fourth home I've owned, but the first as a single woman-- so it was a very proud moment. I could not have gone through this somewhat scary process without the help of the best realtor in the world, Alex Johnson. First he found me the place, second, he got my offer (one of 6) accepted and because he's a local resident who's lived in Santa Cruz for over 30 years, he knows everybody and he's well-liked and respected. For instance, he's been extremely helpful in referring me to local contractors and service providers. What. A. Guy. I know all realtors work hard and now that I am the recipient of that due diligence, I can truly appreciate it. If you are looking to buy in this still competitive market, I highly recommend Alex.
