Living here was okay, I did not feel safe as my car continuously got scratched and hit and the office did nothing about it and they don’t have cameras. They do not know who they really have living there and the neighbors will bother you nonstop. The management was rude and all they did was have an attitude. The rent went up for what ? If nothing was changed and the gate was always messing up also took forever to fix any maintenance/ pest control

The negative experience and negative reviews looks scary.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Terrible experience with Park Sorrento Apartments in Bakersfield. I signed a lease at $1,525/month. After two months, I had to leave due to personal and immigration circumstances. I gave proper notice on July 30th and was informed there was an option to pay a 3-month break lease fee. When I followed up, management told me that option was “no longer available” and instead placed a charge of 10 full months of rent ($15,250) on my account until someone else rents the unit. When I tried to explain that I had already given notice and acted in good faith, the manager rudely said, “I’m not going to argue with you,” hung up the phone, and has since ignored my calls. This is not only unprofessional but feels like an exploitative way to trap tenants into paying for an entire year after leaving. The lack of respect in communication only makes it worse. If you are considering renting here, be extremely cautious. My experience was that policies shift conveniently in their favor, fees are applied unfairly, and management is dismissive when you try to communicate properly and resolve issues.

I did not necessarily live in this apartment complex but I installed the fitness facility for this company. I dealt with Chassity, Meagan, Jennifer, Felicia, and their partners at Johnson Health. These people have it together, they have great customer service, and have taken care of me through and through. I look forward to doing regular preventative maintenance for them, mainly because I enjoy the people here! Definitely check out Park Sorrento, I believe the people are what make the place home.

Good place to live, they offer free services and do monthly events for the community.
