    I have lived here for almost 11 months and I love it. There are literally no complaints for my family of 4. It is a safe community and an office full of people that care. Neighbors are very kind and friendly. Picture of my kids doing a paint event in the office.

    I’ve had a truly wonderful experience with the leasing team at Ventana Apartments. They’ve been nothing short of amazing and extremely patient throughout my entire time here. Barry is an outstanding person & the kind of professional who doesn’t judge a book by its cover but by its content. He’s very experienced, intuitive, courteous, and genuinely pleasant to talk to. Every conversation with him reflects his professionalism and great sense of understanding people. Bianca has always been kind, accommodating, and patient. She even gave me tours at the last minute, walking me through everything with a smile. Her warmth and willingness to help truly stand out. Jamie, the manager, is another gem. Very approachable, down-to-earth, and incredibly sweet. She leads by example, creating a positive and respectful environment for both her team and residents. It’s refreshing to see a team that works so well together, always ready to assist residents promptly and handle any unexpected issues with care and professionalism. They provide reassurance when you need it most and make sure things are resolved efficiently when you’re genuinely not at fault. Touchwood — I’ve had only positive experiences with all of them since moving in. Kudos to this fantastic team, and thanks to Gaines Management for having such wonderful people on board. It’s always a pleasure to stop by the office when required and see their friendly faces!

    New maintenance person, Jillian, is condescending, rude, and doesn’t care. I filled a maintenance emergency today. For ME, this is an emergency. Our AC isn’t blowing cold air and is slowly getting hotter inside. We’re over 80 degrees now indoors. For HER this isn’t an issue, and I’m genuinely happy for her that she doesn’t share my health issues. For me, the risk of overheating = ER visits/passing out, potential hospital admission. She offered a portable AC, but I was trying to explain what had happened in the past with the AC and see if she could just come look at it, and her response was “I’m the one on call today. I’m a 5’3” female, I live all the way out in Tempe and there’s nothing I can do.” I asked her if there’s someone she can call or a manager or someone because I really don’t want to end up at the hospital today. She said no, and told me “it’s a nice day today, I don’t even have my AC on, this is not an emergency”. For her, I get it, it’s not. For me, it is and if they won’t do anything to address it then we need to talk to the housing authorities because I’m pretty sure there’s laws around this kind of thing and she said “go ahead and call them”. My husband took the phone and told her that it’s not our problem to try to figure out, and she accused him of not caring that she’s a small female. He said no, that’s your guy’s issue to figure out. She hung up on him. I still haven’t received whatever AC portable unit she was speaking of. Ventana shouldn’t be hiring “small females” if they are unable to assist anyone, or even have an emergency maintenance line if there’s nothing anyone will do. Tomas or Thomas (not sure how to spell his name) is amazing… and he has helped us with AC issues before and gotten things resolved the same day, by himself. I try my best to just stay out of everyone’s way but this is my second run in with her specifically where she gets nasty and rude. Ana and her team are great, but when it really matters and I need my AC working, it really sucks to hear that my chronic medical condition and it’s direct correlation to being in a hot environment not only isn’t their problem, but it’s “not an emergency”. I would hope that they would care, even just a little bit.

    I am extremely happy with my experience so far with Ventana Apartments. I just got moved and wanted to share how helpful Barry was during the whole process. From the beginning he was super helpful, answering all my questions and putting up with me changing my mind and having to resend the lease several times. On the day of move in, the apartment was cool, clean, and had a goodie bag with a bunch of cleaning supplies, which was a super nice touch I've never seen before. Barry told me he wasn't happy with a few things, and proactively got them replaced for me. He even helped maintenance replace the fridge, which is quite a large task on the second floor. Probably the only place where you'll find a leasing staff willing to step in and help out so you're taken care of. I am thrilled to be living here and wanted to make sure Barry got the recognition he deserves for how exceptional he made this leasing process. As for the apartment itself, it's awesome! Everything is working great so far and these apartments are huge compared to most. The ceilings much taller than other apartments and characteristics like doorway arches and a fireplace really helps make this feel like a home. There's minimal noise from the upstairs neighbor (which is impressive because they have a large dog), and I never hear the one's next to me, so these buildings must be insulated well. The grounds themselves are nice and the clean and amenities like the pools, gym, and car wash area are great! If you're looking for a place to call home, I'd definitely give this place a tour, you won't be disappointed!
