- JNJennifer Neumann4 days ago1.0My mother owns a condo in Glendale. PMI is the property management company hired by the HOA. Joseph Heckel is the broker. Several of the buildings have had severe roof leaks for over 2 years. After fighting for months a couple years ago they sent an unqualified roofer who did not repair the roof correctly. My mother's unit and the one above her have sustained extensive damage. The property management company said to contact them immediately if there are leaks. One of the units has so much roof damage you can see the sky. The residents have all done that. The CC&Rs state that the exterior of the buildings is the responsibility of the HOA handled by the property management company. They have been told by PMI too bad they aren't fixing it. They told my mom the property above her is vacant, it's not my mom talked the owner/resident just yesterday. She now has so much damage and mold a disaster mitigation company has to come in and she has to hire a lawyer. If you're a property owner I wouldn't use them because they are incompetent at best corrupt at worst.
