  My wife and found the perfect home, we had gotten pre approved and done everything right. Our offer was accepted and everything seemed to be going as planned. Then the bank called us and said that because I had switched jobs earlier in the year they wouldn’t consider my income. We were devastated, surely this couldn’t be right, between us we could easily afford our dream home but because of something that should have been caught in the pre approval process we were about to lose the house of our dreams. We started going through the listings calling every lender we could only to hear sorry there is nothing we can do. Then we met Kathy Rice. She actually listened to our situation, took the time to hear our story, and got us approved. She went above and beyond every step of the way. We would not be in our home now if it wasn’t for Kathy Rice and Gateway Mortgage.

She researched different options to present to us so we could choose the best financial decision for our family. She made everything so easy and we really didn’t have to do a thing!
