  Welcome committee of dedicated staff made Jordy, my yellow lab, feel safe and secure. Facility was clean and bright. Glad they are in Tosa.

  Before the groomer even touched my dog, I was told she was matted and that they would have to go very low. I expressed that I didn’t believe she was severely matted. At that point, the groomer then physically checked her and showed me a small area of matting on her face and one on the side of her body. I was told again that because of this, they would need to cut her very short. As someone who is not very experienced with the grooming process, I trusted their professional judgment. However, I did share that my dog had previously gone to Petco when I first got her. At that time, she came from a previous owner who did not take proper care of her coat and she had visible knots throughout her body. Petco was still able to work through the matting without shaving her down and she left looking very cute, clean, and comfortable. I shared this with the groomer, but was told their process was different. Looking back, I should have walked out at that moment, but I trusted that the outcome would still be reasonable. Unfortunately, when I picked my dog up, she looked extremely overcut and poorly styled. While she smells good and her coat feels soft, her overall appearance looks rushed and disappointing. It feels like the easiest option was taken rather than taking the time to properly work through her coat. I know this may sound emotional, but my dog truly did not look like herself when I picked her up. Based on this experience, I would gladly pay the extra $10 to return to Petco in the future.

  The staff was amazingly dog friendly. They helped me understand the process, and steps they will take to ensure Benji's experience. My dog Benji is a shih tzu Yorkie mix about 12 lbs,. He is 6 years old, and a Scorpio. I have always groomed him myself. This was his first professional grooming session. One of my main concerns was that, Benji, was nervous about being groomed by someone other than, Mom. The staff ensured Benjamin's comfort by spending extra time with him. The staff had even reported he was calm during his session. That really helped me feel confident with the scenthound staff. I knew then, he was in good hands. The end result, exceeded my expectations. They made Benji go from cute, to adorable. We look forward to our next visit. Thank you Scenthound staff!!! Benji & Lynea

  My girl loved her spa time at scenthound! She came home smelling like a dream. Her coat looks and feels so soft and clean. We cant wait till next months appointment.

  We have taken our dog to several groomers and wasn’t satisfied with the service the customer service is top tier my baby girl Lexi was not afraid and she allowed all services to be performed in her not to mention the price is so affordable I couldn’t believe it when she gave me the total when we have paid hundreds of dollars just to be told she wasn’t allowing the full service thank you guys and we will be with you forever
