  Not a good idea to get your dog groomed here. My poor bby looks like he just got back from the pound. I showed a pic to her and said do what u can and she said “i got it”… imagine when I pick up the poor thing, actually my daughter did and brought him home: Everyone was sad and our furry son was not the same:(. say goodbye to the holiday photos:(. These guys are good if u don’t really care abt quality.

  We just had our first visit and it was great! My dog is very anxious around the blow dryer and they took their time and made sure he was comfortable and relaxed for his first bath. We’re excited to get a haircut in a few weeks! We took advantage of the promo first visit and now we’re members!

  We brought our Bernedoodle to Scent Hound in South Jordan for over a year and kept a membership with them. Looking back, there were a lot of red flags I wish we had paid more attention to. Our sweet, gentle dog — who was friendly with everyone — would literally tremble in fear every time we brought her here. That alone should have told us something was off. Every visit, no matter how recently she’d been groomed, we heard the same line: “She’s too matted, so we’ll have to shave her.” It always felt like they did whatever was quickest or easiest instead of actually grooming her properly. We sadly had to say goodbye to our dog unexpectedly a couple months ago. A few days after our membership renewed, we called to explain what happened and asked to cancel. They were cold, unsympathetic, and hid behind their “30-day notice” policy. They refused to refund us anything — even though we literally no longer had our dog. Instead, they told us we could use it as a credit. Fast forward a month — we got a new puppy and figured we could at least use the credit for a simple nail trim. They then told us we would have to start an entirely new membership under the new dog just to use the credit we already paid for. One employee even told my spouse a refund could be issued, only for a manager to later call and say the opposite and shut it down completely. This place feels shady, both with how they treat animals and how they lock people into their subscription. They were willing to nickel-and-dime long-term customers over a measly $30 rather than just do the right thing. That alone tells you everything you need to know. We won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who cares about their pets or their money.

  We’ve been bringing our silver lab here for about six months now and we genuinely love it! My dog absolutely will not let me trim her nails (the last time I tried to do it she ended up bleeding because she wouldn’t hold still) or clean her teeth so we’re grateful to be able to bring her every month, even just for the teeth cleaning and nail trimming alone it’s worth it and all the workers are so sweet! They always say how much they love my dog even though I know she can be difficult

  I usually give my dog a bath at home, but I injured my back and it seemed like too much to bathe my dog and then clean the whole bathroom after. I decided to give Scenthound a try and they were able to get us in the next day! I’m so happy with the service! They double washed my dog and cleaned her ears, her teeth and trimmed her nails. And I was able to run to the grocery store while they were doing it. By the time I got done in the store, my dog was ready to be picked up! I’m looking forward to having her bathed again next month and no more furry mess in my bathroom!
