  Very disappointing experience. When I called to cancel, the desk clerk (Teressa or Terry) immediately snapped, “Well you can’t get your deposit back.” I never left a deposit and was never asked for one. Once she realized that, her tone changed and she curtly said, “Okay, come get them.” I arrived at 4:01 PM, waited for people to exit, and found the door locked while staff debated inside whether to open it. Awkward and unprofessional. For two dogs sharing a space, I was charged $376 for one night, half-day play, two baths, two rawhides, an unrequested “suite upgrade,” and a holiday fee—five days before Christmas. It felt like a money grab during peak travel season. To top it off, one of my dogs is now limping. Between the rudeness, surprise charges, and concerns about my dog’s wellbeing, we won’t be back. Next time, I’ll book them a room at the Ritz-Carlton. 🐾

  Our three dogs stayed over Thanksgiving day, it costed us $800, numerous charges, they all wore sweaters, but the staff of Shadow Forest took the sweaters off during their stay, when they got home suffering severe diarrhea with no appetite! I will never use this place again.

  We have been boarding and grooming with Forest Shadows for several years, after bringing home our first rescue....and now second. We sign them up for play time and exit bath and nail trim. During our transition from one dog to two (one now 100lbs, the other 50lbs) the staff have worked with our request and also offered suggestions. I remember the first stay: I thought my lab mix would like the pool time. Received a call after first day letting me know that our pupper was not using pool (just running around barking) and that I could save money by choosing simple playtime. They had my continued business after that! My two dogs always come out happy and wiggly....and when dropping off they are ready to go back with staff and never look back at me! When I am alone trying to handle both hooligans, someone is always available to help me load them up. Highly recommend Forest Shadows!
