I scheduled a Meet and Greet for my dog to attend Doggy Daycare. When I dropped her at Dogs Dig It for her scheduled 30-min appointment, a staff member took her back alone—they don’t allow you to accompany your dog or see the area where the dogs play. Just 5 minutes after leaving her (seriously, 5 mins: I left her at 12:01 and they called me at 12:06) I received a phone call that they had already determined her to be a bad fit. When I asked why, they told me she was pacing, nervous, and was looking for ways to escape. The staffer confirmed to me she had met with other dogs without issue—so that portion was fine and there were no problems with aggressiveness.
I’m kind of stunned by the bad experience. Why not give her more than a few minutes to become comfortable in the new space? Why not let her stay for the full 30 min scheduled appointment, and then determine her fit? My dog has gone to Doggy Daycare at other places without problems. She loves playing with other dogs.
As another Google reviewer stated after having a similar experience with this business, there is an air of exclusivity. I’m guessing they have enough customers so they can outright reject a dog who is scared. My suggestion: try another dog care business before this one.

Jessica did a great job on my Border Collie! I really appreciate that she didn’t use any products that had too strong of a scent. The previous place I took my dog to made him smell like the perfume section of a department store and I hated that. But really the best part of his appointment with Jessica was that TJ didn’t come home stressed out, he was calm and happy, and I could tell that he knew he looked great! Would highly recommend Jessica and we will continue to see her for TJ’s grooming needs.

Dogs Dig It is my dog’s favorite place to go! She always is so excited when she arrives and is exhausted when it’s time to come home. She plays when she wants to, has great spots to sun bathe, and she has the ability to go inside and go take a nap in a crate if she needs some alone time. They have misters and water play to keep the dogs cool on a hot day and they have heaters and dogs coats for the dogs to borrow if they don’t have their own when it’s cold outside. The staff remember my dog’s name when she arrives and are always happy to see her. I always recommend them to anyone looking for a daycare!

This place is.. not great. It has two relatively small distinct areas for dogs, both part outdoor astroturf and part sheltered. They won't let you see the area (liability reasons I guess) so it's hard to get a good feel for it, but from the video footage, it looks like they cram a good number of dogs in there. The service is pretty good, I guess? The workers were mostly friendly, although the first person I met there was quite cold.
My biggest complaint is really that they don't help at all with your dog's socialization. I read that their policy was that dogs must be at least 6 months old, so when my pup was 6 months, I took him in with the hope of introducing him to other dogs in a social setting. The workers there literally do nothing but stand around and wait to scoop up poop. There's no kind of training or intervention. A 6 month old pup can use a firm hand and guidance and will learn quickly, but they don't bother. When my pup started displaying some resource guarding behaviors, rather than intervene and train him, they put him in a crate and called me to come get him, then wouldn't refund me my remaining sessions. C'mon folks. Is it too much to ask to have your workers have a little training experience to help a young dog get off on the right foot? And seriously, no refund when you won't allow a dog back?
I guess this place might be fine for your dog, but mine isn't welcome, and they aren't going to help.
