I was driving home tonight and saw a cat on the side of the road. From the way he was laying, I knew he was still alive. I turned around and went back. I grabbed a blanket and carefully picked him up as people just flew by us 2 feet away. I knew he could not be saved, I just could not leave him there to suffer until he died. CVS was the 1st emergency Vet Google Maps suggest. I called them crying and told them I had found a cat who had been hit and needed to be euthanized. They said bring him right in. We rushed him there. I was all set to whip my card out, I didn't care. I just didn't want him to suffer any longer. But, they contacted the animal shelter and the shelter covered the cost. They took him right back and ended his pain. No waiting. The three employees we delt with were very professional, supportive, and compassionate. I could tell it hurt them to see him as much as it hurt me. I would absolutely reccomend them and bring my own pets to them if needed. Thank you, CVS, for taking care of him.

This place truly cares about people and animals. My husband and I are homeless and our baby Boy who was 7 was hit by a car. A beautiful soul of a lady named Ivey pulled over and helped us. They gave us funeral arrangements and paw prints and some of his hair. Fly high our baby Boy

It's been some time since I came here, about a year or two ago now. But I wanted to share my experience. It wasn't great. That day I adopted a dog and that dog got ahold of my cat and attempted to maul her alive. I got her free and sped to get to this emergency room. They took some time to get my cat in, who was BLEEDING (that's a health hazard to everyone bc who knows what a cat can carry). They also wanted 750$ on the spot for my cat when they just gave her stitches, an X-ray, and some pain medicine. It was overall 1000$. This was 1-2 years, so possibly more expensive now. If I had the choice I wouldn't have went to this emergency room but my normal vet didn't have theirs available. I don't recommend for how they treat people in distress and how much money they expect. I was 18 and was broke! I couldn't and still can't today afford that. I only could then bc my family had made me a savings account, that was 1/4 of my savings account gone in one day. Never again. Watch your animals and stick to your normal vet if you can.

This place is absolutely horrific and a disgrace to veterinary medicine. The doctor, Michelle Parenteau, was not only egregiously rude but condescending and completely tactless. She had the absolute gall to look me in the face while clearly distressed and worried for my cat and say his accident could be chalked up to “benign neglect”. I love my cats like they are my own children and stop at nothing to keep them safe and healthy. For her to say that was beyond disgusting. Any question that I tried to ask was met with patronizing snappiness and outright dismissal from her. Additionally, from the exam room staff could be heard in the hallway joking and laughing about a dog that had died earlier in the day and how upset the owner was; a truly terrifying display of cruelness. DO NOT EVER bring your pet here.
