    This was the first spa day for Penny out 1 year old Pit. They took time and made her feel comfortable, I felt confident leaving her with them.

    My foster dog Liu Kang was boarded for eight days at Kennelwood on Page. I have to board him many times a year as I have to travel to Europe a lot. Every time I pick him up from there, he is in bad shape, but yesterday was the worst. He lost a significant amount of weight in one week, has wounds around his paws but on top he was badly covered in urine. Liu has extreme anxiety away from home and needs patience and support to eat and feel safe, I know he can be stressed and not eat but his condition yesterday suggests poor supervision and care. On top he was not allowed to even have chew toys although their homepage and boarding mail says something else. I am sure he had no supervision, no human contact at all for over a week! I would not recommend this place to anyone. As a foster I have to board him there and can’t choose another Kennel but if you can choose don’t go there

    I boarded my cat for 6 days and when I got her back she was sneezing a lot. I'm not sure if she had gotten a URI. I'm worried that they overcrowd the cats at Kennelwood and are not separating cats with URIs away from those that don't. Be careful!

    BEWARE ANIMAL ABUSE!!! I boarded two puppies (who had never boarded)for three nights on an indoor outdoor patio….i picked them up today and they are head to toe coated in pee….the staff brought them to me like that….the staff could care less! So I call manager Debbie and tell her what happened she’s not apologetic….she offers the excuse that the def stayed outside in the cold and sat and rolled in their own pee!!! I have mini dachshunds….they have no hair….the last thing they’d do is stay out in the cold they hate the cold…..so they had accidents in the blankets provided that were supposed to be checked twice a day….and were forced to sleep in damp pee soaked blankets for 3 NIGHTS!!!! I’m livid….i insisted on a refund that Debbie first said couldn’t be issued and then when I insisted and used the term animal abuse….oh I’m getting a refund today. My babies were not cared for and were subjected to neglect and abuse…. DO NOT BOARD YOU ANIMALS HERE!!! I’m reporting Kennelwood for animal abuse….manager Debbie said go right ahead….and these horrid people could careless!

    My dog—who was fully up to date on all vaccinations—boarded at your Maryville location on October 4. She contracted kennel cough during her stay, which subsequently infected my other two dogs. I purchased the insurance specifically to cover veterinary expenses for illnesses contracted during boarding. Despite submitting all required documentation and following up multiple times through email and approximately six phone conversations, it has now been nearly two months and I still have not received the reimbursement check for my veterinary bills, which are accruing interest on my credit card.. Can you please provide an immediate update on the status of my claim and when I can expect the check to be issued? This delay has been extremely frustrating, especially given that I followed all procedures promptly on my end.
