- RLRachelle LynchSep 17, 20251.0It’s absolutely disgusting what I witnessed today. Whenever I come here, like most, I always look at the animals available, especially the ferrets. Although, today when I came I noticed they were very sluggish and acting odd, when I looked closer at their very overfilled food bowl I noticed not only was there extremely old food at the bottom, not only was it uncleaned, NOT ONLY was there DOZENS of flies swarming it, there was LIVE MAGGOTS. I’m so disappointed I couldn’t take them away from that environment. Those poor babies. The maggots probably ate more of the food than the ferrets did!
