Had to take my 14 year old cat in for respiratory distress. After calling around to several places who didnt have any availability, NGVS was open and encouraged us to bring him in. We arrived and they brought him back right away. Unfortunately there was nothing anyone could do as it appeared to be heart failure. We made the tough decision to let him go. The staff were incredibly kind and the veterinarian was compassionate and informative. She gave us all the time we needed with him and helped us each step of the way.

We were referred by our vet to Dr. Curcio for a mysterious injury our dog’s leg. He gave us a range of possibilities and solutions and never once pushed expensive imaging or procedures. He was very transparent about pricing and made us feel confident in the plan we chose. He and all the staff members were very kind and answered all of our questions.

We brought our cat, Aubrey, to North Georgia Veterinary Specialists after she accidentally ingested a human medication. The staff immediately explained the protocol for emergencies like this, which involved contacting the animal poison control hotline in coordination with the clinic. Once that connection was made, the team did an outstanding job ensuring Aubrey received the proper treatment—everything was handled with precision and care.
Thanks to their expertise, Aubrey has made a full recovery and is back to her normal self. We’re incredibly grateful for the compassionate and knowledgeable staff. Everyone was attentive, reassuring, and truly dedicated to her well-being. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this clinic to any pet owner in need of exceptional care.
