  I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Scenthound Coral Springs, and I feel it’s important to warn other pet owners before they waste their time and money the way I did. My appointment was scheduled for 1:00 PM, yet my dog was not ready until 4:00 PM. A three-hour wait for a grooming appointment is unreasonable, especially when I received their mid-service photo at 2:28 PM showing my dog still wet in the tub. If he was being bathed at that time, I have no idea what could have possibly taken another hour and a half. From the moment I walked in, the miscommunication was constant. This was my first visit — and absolutely my last. I requested a basic grooming, which at any other groomer has always included a haircut and the standard cleaning/bathing. At Scenthound, “basic grooming” apparently means a bath and ear cleaning only. They actually charge extra if you want your dog dried, which is unbelievable. I have never heard of a grooming salon where you have to pay additional fees just to avoid picking up a dripping-wet dog. On top of that, I was never told there would be an additional fee for a haircut. I own a Yorkie, whose hair grows very long and very fast, and I specifically asked for him to be cut short and for his face to be shaped. They failed completely. My dog looked exactly the same as when I dropped him off — long hair, unshaped face, nothing done. This entire situation actually started yesterday, when I originally dropped my dog off. I realized once I left that no one had asked me how short I wanted his coat trimmed, so I called back. That’s when I learned they don’t even include haircuts with their grooming packages — it’s all an extra charge. I calmly asked for my dog’s hair to be cut anyway, only to be told the “groomer wasn’t there,” meaning there was no way for my dog to get a haircut at all. I had to drive back and pick him up because I refused to pay just for a bath and ear cleaning — something I can easily do at home for free. So today, I went back after they quoted me $70. By checkout, that price magically became $96. Nearly $100 for my dog to look exactly the way he did when I arrived. The result? No haircut. No shaping. No noticeable grooming at all. Just a long-haired Yorkie I could have bathed myself in ten minutes. There is zero communication, everything is an additional fee, and the service absolutely does not match the price. I genuinely question whether they even have a licensed groomer on staff, because the quality of the “grooming” suggests otherwise — and it makes sense considering yesterday they told me the “groomer wasn’t there,” and today it genuinely felt like he wasn’t there either. I am shocked this location has high ratings. I will never return, and I would strongly advise other pet owners to avoid the monthly subscription — you are paying for basic bathing and ear cleaning and everything else is overpriced add-ons. This was by far the most unprofessional grooming experience I’ve had, and I left extremely disappointed with the way my dog looked. The only reason I even booked here to begin with is because where I usually take my Yorkie they were fully booked. I knew I should have waited instead of trying some place new. And they do allllll the services and more and don’t even charge me over $75. (My dog looks absolutely miserable in the mid service pic they could’ve tried a little harder)

  My Daisy Bella had the best grooming she ever had. The staff are very friendly. They text me with progress and send me pictures of Daisy Bella as they were working on her. Daisy Bella smells so good and her fur is so soft and shiny. Thank you for taking care of my Daisy Bella ❤️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  As a first time customer, staff was very supportive and understanding. My dog looked amazing and my family noticed immediately that she was clean and groomed.

  If I could give this place -100 stars, I would. This business is a total scam. They make you believe the subscription is $35 a month for regular hygiene, but then suddenly tell you that drying your dog costs an extra $18 — something that was never disclosed at the time of signing. Once we booked the appointment for the so-called “regular hygiene,” they added this hidden fee, and if you don’t pay it, your dog will be sent home wet, which can cause skin problems. Hector, who claims to be the owner, was extremely rude and completely unwilling to communicate or resolve the issue. The so-called manager was no better — dishonest, constantly interrupting, and not listening at all. This is a business you cannot trust. Do not waste your money or your time. Avoid this place at all costs. Shame on the owners, the management, and the entire franchise for running such a misleading and unprofessional operation. BE AWARE — this place is a complete scam.

  Horrrible horrible and just horrible. Sept 18 we went to this Coral Springs location to try out and from the experience we thought wow she looks good . One of the staff showed us there subscriptions options and explained for your dog I would recommend on her basic hygiene days to just pay nail grinding. So recently I set up an appointment for my dogs hygiene day and was told bc my dog is a Yorker we should pay for proper brush and blow for another 18 dollars. So I asked the package included a wash so why would my dog not be dried. I was informed well that’s just a flash drying it’s not a fully dry . It only drys the dog for like 10 mins. I’m sorry but long hair or short hair ur do is not getting dryer that fast. So I explained no one had informed me we would have to pay another 18 on top of the 35 we pay for the basic hygiene . In my eye automatically they mislead us just to get someone sign up to a subscription.today oct 22 we dropped my dog off, staff already talked to earlier that we want our dog properly dried bc again we were not told ,as a person who worked in customer service my entire life the simple answer would of just been we will do the brush and blow this one time sorry for the inconvenience. But unfortunately no they did not the manager hector has fought with my husband has verbally fought with me through text messaging. My husband had to go get my dog refusing to do the hygiene and then literally yelling at my husband who couldn’t even get a word in bc hello I was on the phone the entire time as he got my dog. To then tell me my husband verbally abused him and his staff that the staff had to go home bc she whe in distress….. as a manager he escalated this whole situation to what didn’t need to be. So no I am writing this to warn new customers to make sure u ask details of there subscriptions and if u have the slightest problem, u will get yelled at and tell u you aren’t allowed to feel upset basically. Unprofessional and disgusting behavioral pls don’t waste your money at this location period
