We recently enrolled our 7.5 month old puppy here for their puppy preschool program. It has been so great!! We really love the staff here, everyone is so genuine in caring for the dogs and they have such an organized system. They are also really big on sanitation and cleanliness which gave us the peace of mind we needed! He absolutely LOVES going to “school” and we are grateful to have such a nice place to have him go to for socialization and puppy training all in one - he comes home calm and happy!

My fiance and I have been bringing our dog Quentin to Room for Paws (RFP) for two years now. RFP was instrumental in supporting us with socializing Quentin with dogs of all size. They've always been so caring and gentle towards him, and us as dog parents each time we drop him off. The staff at RFP is attentive, communicative, and I always feel settled dropping him off there. I recommend RFP to all of my friends with pups. :)

We recently moved to the area, and with Room for Paws being so close to our house, we decided to bring our dog here. The experience left much to be desired, to say the least. Our dog's first day here went great, and we gladly decided to get an intro package to get a better deal on 5 days of daycare for her. In those 5 days (once per week), she came back smelling terribly 2/5 times. No bother, I can give her a bath, it's not that big of a deal. Then, on two separate occasions, about 3 weeks apart, after going, she came home and started having diarrhea and vomiting for several days after visiting. I only made the connection that it was only after she had been to this daycare the second time the diarrhea started, and that was the last time we took her here. Now, additionally, our girl has come down with Kennel Cough. This is the only facility she's been to in the area, and is the only place she could've developed this. I'd normally not fault the facility for any of this, dogs are complicated. However, before we moved here, she went to daycare 3x a week in our old town, and we had exactly 0 issues in 2 years of 3 days a week of daycare. Now, in 6 visits, we've had 5 separate instances of something being wrong after picking her up. Can't recommend.

As of today, 10/25/25 I will be documenting every piece of evidence stated below. My mental health has been suffering since this company has moved here. I've barely had any sleep due to the constant barking of your dogs and unfortunately, even when you're closed - I can still hear them in my head which is causing anxiety, stress, and high blood pressure. My health has been DEEPLY impacted and I'm not able to function or work properly which is affecting everyone as well, and i pray this doesn't become any more serious than it already is because my mental health IS important, and the owner needs to be aware of it - if he cares enough. otherwise, I'm ashamed of his behavior. 1) Your timings on your website states you're open at "8 AM" yet you let dogs out to bark uncontrollably at "6 30 am" while the neighborhood is TRYING to sleep. Weekdays AND Weekends. I screenshotted it as well incase you change it. This is unprofessional and I WILL record it on video or audio to showcase the city of Stamford the next time it happens. The weekends are all we have to ourselves and a little peace and quite can go a long way but your company has stripped us of that for a while now. It's extremely unfair that the owner gets to be at home in peace and get his sleep while the neighborhood behind suffers. Again, it's disrespectful to us and our mental state. 2) As for your employees, I've carefully observed their behavior when working. What are you paying them for? To be on their phones? to laugh and interact with their colleague while the dogs are constantly barking? If this is how you operate, i suggest you hire more experienced people. It's common sense that when there's a lot of barking you tell the dogs to be quiet. standing there and staring at the sky is NOT ACCEPTABLE. If this continues to happen starting after today 10/25/25 - I will be calling the cops every time to indicate how I am being waken up at "6:30 AM" when the website says 8. I've tolerated this enough and it's time to make some adjustments to your working ethics or hours especially on the weekends. 3) It is also winter. it is hitting below 60 degrees. Why are your dogs out in the cold for more than a few hours? Please take them inside where its warm. 4) Why do you take dogs out in the rain? They need to be inside where it's warm. 4) I hear neighbors yelling because your dogs are barking too much. is the life of a human worth nothing compared to a business? Or the does the owner only care about money? If this is true, did the owner even think twice about location? Not realizing that having barking dogs Infront of a neighborhood wouldn't be a problem? It's embarrassing. Either way, Please resolve this matter and be considerate of where you're located. We need to sleep. We need peace. we need quiet. I can't even open my windows anymore because of the noise, thus resulting in no ventilation in the house causing headaches. I pray I don't have to suffer much longer or head to the hospital. If that means anything, please do better with your noise. Documenting all the noise and timings including afternoon constant barking will proceed starting today 10/25/25 . Thank You.

We had an excellent experience at Room for Paws! This was our first boarding experience and we will definitely be back. I knew our dog had been well cared for because I could barely get him to leave! Special thanks to Sarah for her attentiveness- my dog clearly got attached to her during his stay, which made me so happy. Pops will be back at Room for Paws soon!
