Unfortunately, sharing a very unpleasant experience with this vet clinic. All staff are extremely unprofessional and rude and don’t seem to have their information together. I was inquiring about the frequency of anal glands expressions procedure appointments and could not receive clear answer from multiple staff members. When the supervising clinician came to the front desk, her unwarranted hostility and rudeness were shocking. She was asking questions completely unrelated to the issue of me wanting to confirm the frequency of Vet visits which still left me confused. The five minute procedure cost me nearly $50 and when I asked the technician follow up questions, she stated that I need to make an actual doctor appointment. $50 for 5 minute anal glands expression procedure- I should be allowed to ask follow up questions. Don’t bring your animals to this clinic because they seem to be more concerned about financial gain than the welfare of your pets!

Maybe if I leave a bad review these guys will stop ignoring my calls and emails and actually contact me back about the very important treatment my dog needs.

Very bad experience at Banfield. We took our 11-week-old kitten, Mars, just for her vaccines. After the appointment, she was in severe pain, unable to walk or move her leg. The swelling was so intense that we had to return the next day for an emergency visit. What upset us the most was that they refused to give her any pain medication until we paid for X-rays, insisting that her leg might be fractured—completely ignoring the possibility of an injury caused by the injection. They never once admitted they could have hurt her, even though it was clear. The vaccines were given by Dr. Elizabeth Huamonte. The next day we were seen by Dr. Herrera, who at least tried to help, but overall the care felt cold, lacking empathy, and more focused on payment than our pet’s well-being. We will not be coming back. This experience left us deeply disappointed and heartbroken to see our kitten suffer from something that should have been routine and safe.
