  Our trainer, Maria, did a great job of training our young 1yo foster Shepsky. He had been in a shelter for several months and had very few manners from a dog and human perspective. Thanks to Maria, potential adopters will be able to see his beautiful heart and spirit rather than the bad manners. He learned all the basics in one short week and we learned how to keep our training consistent to maintain the lessons and manners he learned. Thanks to Maria, Ford and everyone at Fit n Furry.

  I have had bad experiences with other doggy daycare places, so, I am attune to my dog’s behavior when entering a daycare facility. My current dog, who is a puppy still, Is excited to go to Fit and Furry every time I take her. I listen to my dog and watch her behavior and I know this is a wonderful place for her.

  I wanted to board my dog at this place. I registered online to make a reservation 15 days ago, and it said they would communicate with me. However, that never happened. I've been calling every day for the last 7 days, and although the staff is nice and friendly, it's been impossible to communicate with the person in charge of registration. They told me to call back at 11 am, but the person was never available. One day, the person responded to my call but said it was busy. I've kept calling at different times and on different days, and it's always something. They always take my information to call me back, but they never do. After 2 weeks of trying to make a reservation for boarding my dog, I'm going to give up on them. Honestly, if they're like this just to make a reservation, I don't trust them with the care of my dog.

  Fit n Furry staff are the best. We placed our dog with them for a two week training boot camp and he came back a different boy. He's a pleasure to walk. No pulling and focused. His household manners are now really good. No jumping up. No mouthing. No barking. We have nothing but good to say about his trainer Marie and the whole staff at Fit N Furry. We will be using them again whenever we need boarding.

  Date of Service: September 12–20, 2025 I trusted Fit ’N Furry in Petaluma to care for my 3-year-old Cane Corso, Nala, while I was away. When I picked her up, she was wet, lethargic, and had lost over 5 lbs in just 8 days. The staff said they were “cleaning her off,” but a same-day vet exam showed dehydration and rapid weight loss with no underlying illness — consistent with poor feeding or neglect. No one called me once during her stay to report any problems. I followed up with detailed documentation and photos but received no response from management or corporate. I later filed a BBB complaint (Case #24002226), which the company ignored completely. This experience was heartbreaking and unacceptable. Pet owners deserve honesty and accountability.
