- NDNora Diramerian5 days ago1.0I am absolutely heartbroken and furious about what happened to my dog at the Petco grooming on Tampa today. His appointment was at 8:00 AM. I dropped him off on time, only for them to immediately put him in a cage and ignore him. At 8:30 — thirty minutes later — they finally called me just to say they “can’t take him because he’s barking.” When I asked why he was left in a cage for so long, the groomer kept repeating that they “keep dogs on rotation at 8 AM.” I have no idea what “rotation” my dog was supposed to be on when his appointment was at 8 AM and the store opens at 8 AM. It made zero sense. Instead of taking responsibility, she actually told me to “come back another day for a VIP treatment.” Why would I bring him back for a VIP treatment at the same place that just stressed him out, caged him, ignored him, and refused to groom him? When I brought him home, he wasn’t himself at all. He curled up and shut down, completely drained — this photo says everything. No dog should return from a simple grooming appointment looking emotionally exhausted. This store needs to understand that these aren’t just animals — they’re family. The lack of care, communication, and compassion today was unacceptable, and I will never bring him here again.

I get a call at 4:15 and was told that she had diarehea with blood and they cant groom her, and to reschedule her! Well, what do you expect for a scared dog to wait for 4 1/2 hrs!? No wonder, she was sitting in pee and diarrhea. They didnt even clean her back end off!

He is such a polite, respectful, humble, and kind young man. He helped me with great patience and courtesy, and what touched me the most was that he spoke to me in my language — Spanish — with respect and kindness. In times when many immigrants feel discrimination, it was a relief and a joy to meet someone who shows pride in his roots. Tommy was wearing a pin with the Mexican flag, and you could tell how proud he is to be Latino. It’s so heartwarming to see our youth working with love, respect, and a sincere smile.
