We operate strictly by appointment only to ensure every family receives a safe, private, and personalized experience when meeting our dogs. Our program is led by Butch Collins, who brings 25 years of law enforcement experience, including 20 years as Police Chief. Throughout his career, Butch developed a deep respect and love for German Shepherds—admiring their intelligence, loyalty, working ability, and protective nature. That passion inspired the foundation of Southern Lakes German Shepherds. Our goal is to place fine pedigreed German Shepherds with families who are searching for their next legend, protector, and loyal companion. Our imported dogs are Top Rated for hips and elbows, and every puppy comes with a vet health certificate, all shots up to date, and AKC litter registration.
