    I started new Verizon service at this Victra location three days ago, and this was one of the most deceptive and uncomfortable retail experiences I’ve ever had. Early in the interaction, the salesperson asked what I did for a living. As soon as I told him I was self-employed, his demeanor changed. He immediately called another employee over. That second employee got on the phone (presumably with a sales manager), relayed “options” to the first salesperson, and from that point forward the first guy became extremely pushy—trying to force us into a business plan and insisting we pay full price for phones, despite us repeatedly saying no. The dynamic felt coordinated and intentional, not accidental. From there, it became nearly impossible to get straight answers. Instead of addressing our questions directly, the first salesperson repeatedly turned away from us to speak privately with the second employee, then came back with scripted pressure tactics. We were never given real choices. He only brought out the exact number of phones needed for our lines—no alternatives, no comparisons, no opportunity to decide. Over an hour later, when I asked to see other phones, he claimed the safe needed “10 minutes to reset” because he had just used it. He never left the counter once. That explanation was clearly false. When my son said he didn’t want the phone they were pushing on him, we were told we’d be charged a restocking fee and would have to “start over,” even though nothing had been activated or finalized. This felt like a deliberate pressure tactic to keep us from changing our minds. We were then handed the phones and told to set them up ourselves while waiting for paperwork. At that point, the original salesperson left the store entirely, leaving the second employee—the one who had been on the phone and feeding him information—to finish the transaction. That employee suddenly acted as though he had no knowledge of what had just occurred. When I questioned the total amount we were charged, I was told it included a one-time activation fee. Today, after reviewing my Verizon account, I discovered the activation fee will appear on my upcoming bill—meaning what we were charged in-store was actually a setup fee, despite the fact that they provided zero setup assistance. Today, I went to a different Verizon store seeking clarification and better service, and they confirmed that complaints like this are very common with the mall location. I am returning to Victra again today—but not to the mall location—in an attempt to resolve this. I will update this review and adjust my rating only if Victra takes accountability and corrects the misleading charges and sales practices. Until then, I strongly recommend avoiding this location.

    Louis at the Huntington Mall is awesome. He answered all of our questions. Discussed all options. Took the time to make sure we got the best deals. Very happy with our service updates!

    The employee Logan was excellent, very easy to work with. I would recommend him any day. Tyler another employee was very helpful as well.Both were knowledgeable with all my questions.

    Leaving this review to bring some light to how great people can be. I didn’t leave with a phone, but I was given really great sound advice. My phone was stolen, and I came in panicking trying to figure out my options. Matt assisted me and told me that I needed to collect myself and look into filing a claim for a replacement phone. Thankfully, my stubborn self listened. I went home, was able to get everything I needed to, sorted, filmed my claim and got my new phone the next day. So if anyone wants a very honest and kind associate helping them, look for Matt!! He was able to get me to think, and not just jump to a situation that wouldn’t have been good for me financially!!
