    First, I want to apologize to my local Verizon store because this review isn’t about you. This is about Verizon Wireless as a company. Unfortunately, they don’t give customers any way to leave reviews for corporate, so this will have to do. I was a loyal Verizon customer for five years. I had five lines and internet, paid on time (usually early), and never had a single issue. I loved being a Verizon customer — until I decided to switch. This year, I moved to AT&T. They agreed to pay off my devices, but there was a delay in sending payment. During that time, Verizon sent me to collections, despite me being in direct contact with their accounting department and even providing AT&T’s information so they could verify it themselves. Then came the harassment. Verizon’s collection team called me at 5 A.M. multiple times. Yes, 5 in the morning. I had to call and complain about this because it was completely unacceptable and disruptive. When I finally got through to collections, I was told to just pay off the balance and we’d be good. AT&T eventually sent gift cards, but when I went to pay Verizon, the balance was higher than what I was originally quoted when I canceled. I discovered I was still being charged for my watch line, which I had specifically asked to deactivate. Verizon confirmed over the phone it would be deactivated and the charges removed — but they weren’t. I went into Verizon and paid off the balance. Collections told me once I paid what AT&T covered, the rest would be waived since I disputed the timeframe of the charges. After that, I got no further communication, so I assumed it was settled. Then I checked my credit report. Verizon reported me as unpaid. My credit score dropped 72 points. I am beyond angry and disappointed. Verizon took a loyal customer with five years of perfect payments and treated me like garbage the moment I left. Harassing early-morning calls, broken promises, and then destroying my credit over disputed charges? Absolutely shameful. Verizon went from being a company I trusted and recommended to one I will NEVER do business with again. Customers deserve so much better than this.

    Michael was a sleazy salesman! He changed my insurance plan without discussing the benefits with me, failed to initially place the phone on an installment plan and gave me incorrect information which resulted in a loss of important data on my phone! I'm completely disappointed!
