The first rep I spoke to immediately assumed I dropped it and it broke somehow despite me trying to explain otherwise. He went so far as to say “okay let’s be real here what happened with it?” He was very certain I was the reason it stopped working. He immediately said “I can get you in a new iphone or make an insurance claim for $99.” I explained my husband had a similar issue except his screen was visibly damaged and he got his device replaced free of charge. He ignored me and persisted with my “only” options. He eventually asked the manager, sitting one spot over, about how to contact customer service for my warranty. He called and continued insisting I broke it somehow. The call ended with me scheduling an appointment with ubreakifix. My husband and i returned where he was visibly upset because he knows i haven’t damaged my phone and doesn’t understand why im being treated like this. I called out the reps misogynistic treatment and showed my near perfect condition phone. The manager intervened, called customer service, pressed the power restart buttons (volume up, volume down, and holding the lock button down) My phone turned on within seconds. My screen was perfect. No damage in sight. This frustration could have been avoided had this rep been even a little concerned with resolving a simple issue rather than trying to take my money or undermine me.

They don't know about products, only what "deals" are available and will push push push what they want without asking what the customer wants. It's poorly run, disorganized, and smells like musk. In particular, the receptionist with the glasses needs a lesson in customer service. No, it is not ok to wait 45 minutes when all I have is a simple question about what you have in stock. Goodbye forever, Verizon.
