I thought I'd give my experience a share....... I had brought in my black chihuahua that had gotten mauled to death by my sister's Pitbull....... I had taken it into this place. And they denied me..... !!!!! They saw all the blood, the wounds my Chihuahuas jaw was hanging down and they denied my services.!!!!!!! Just because I owed them a little $400 bill from back then.! Do not come here!!!!! The receptionist was terrible!!!!! Terrible people.!!! No empathy at all.! Do not come here

Apparently they pick and choose what animals to see based off of if the vet on duty is comfortable what a joke should be specialized in all animals if you are an emergency vet!!!

Absolute worst experience. Today, November 2, 2025, around 8:30/9:00am. I brought my Pomeranian in for extreme bleeding from her back paws with a lot of blood loss. I walked in and the receptionist couldn’t even be bothered to look up at me until I said something. Then she informed me that no one was available (NO ONE). The Dr. was in surgery, apparently no other staff is available? Receptionist was rude and uncaring and said no one was available for over two hours to even lay eyes on her😳. I thought this was an ER?? This was an emergency and the lady up front couldn’t have cared less. There was no one in the waiting room. I then unfortunately had a choice words for her as I was frantic and upset. Isn’t this what a ER is for…emergencies? I left and went to VEG in Brookfield. They took us in right away. They saw her right back paw was squirting out blood, a lot. They jumped into action and saved my girl. They were professional and compassionate and did an excellent job.
I would never recommend to anyone or bring any of my pets back to VCA. Unprofessional, uncaring and couldn’t be bothered to help. You should be ashamed of yourself and go into a different profession. Maybe hire more staff. My girl could have died. Do not go here!!!
If you want great care, go to VEG in Brookfield!

I took my dog here today after she was attacked at the park yesterday. We both were so scared but once checking it and going through everything VCA did a amazing job. They doctor was sooo sweet and told me how to handle the attack and encouraged me to file a police report. They all took such great care of Luna too. I am forever grateful for them
