I wish to highly complement Young Cho, one of your employees in Verizon in Renton.
I live abroad alot, and came in with my really old phone and mobile hot-spot device. Young was exceptional. Extremely courteous, extremely proficient, and a real pleasure to work in my Verizon experience.
He made everything easy for me, and took exceptional care to make sure I understood exactly how to work the devices for my stay in th US. Additionally, Young gave me very helpful suggestions in using the devices for best value for my money.
Absolutely exceptional from all.my experiences in over 10 years of using Verizon services. I believe Young is an exceptional ambassador for Verizon and, Verizon is lucky to have him.

I have been a Verizon customer for 9 years, but for the second time I was poorly served at this store, the service is selective, if you say you want to buy a cell phone they listen to you, I needed to go to the southcenter mall to be well served and solve my problem, After posting my sad experience with this store, I saw that this is repeated in other horrible customer service reviews, with an apology later from Verizon, which doesn't change their customer service at all.

I was in the Landing's Verizon company store on Saturday July 5th. I was seeking information to change my plan with Verizon (I've been with them for 7+ years, but hadn't upgraded my phone in 5 or more years), intended to get a new premium phone, and possibly a smart watch. We went in with an appointment at 1 PM, arrived a few minutes early, were greeted, and asked what we were looking to do. The young man we were working with, as soon as I explained that we were trying to decide if we should migrate to my account or my girlfriend's, and that I was looking for a new phone, and possibly a new smart watch as well, immediately acted as if I was wasting his time. We're both Verizon customers, she longer than me, I'm 53, she's 47, and we both work in technology related fields. He told me I needed to use the app or customer service to make changes to my account. I'd thought he'd simply misunderstood me, and both of us tried to explain what we wanted to do. This went on about 10 minutes. The store was not busy at all. He said he couldn't do anything for me, or quote any prices. He looked up both our accounts, Insisted I had no upgrades, and said I should just close my account and start a new one online or through customer service. I was bewildered, and walked out frustrated. In the car, we looked online at Verizon. I even talked with customer service. I had a notion that we could better explain what we wanted to do after that, and set another appointment with my phone through the app for 3PM. As there were NO CUSTOMERS inside, I walked back in to see if we could do a walk-in sooner and was greeted by a different employee. As I was talking with her, the first guy swooped in aggressively and took over the conversation, telling her he'd already told me. She then identified him as her manager and deferred to him. I tried one more time, and then he told me that I wasn't going to be able to do what I wanted to and get new equipment in the next 10 minutes, and acted as if it would take hours he didn't have, and further said that if I'd called customer service like he'd told me to, I'd already be done. At that point I told him that I needed to go to another store. He sarcastically told me to have a nice day. I wished him the same, and left. Through the whole exchange his tone and body language were dismissive and insulting. I will try another Verizon store, but I will never go to that one again. At this point I am thinking that I need to explore the services of other carriers/providers if this is what Verizon store management and company culture is like.
