The entire staff—from Client Services (Shawn, Janet, Kit) to the techs (Stephanie, Savannah, Emily) and vets (Dr. Kuehne, Dr. Otto)—consistently provided compassionate, expert, transparent and non-pressured care for my cat. To highlight my experience: I'm a first time pet owner, and brought my cat here after multiple friends and coworkers recommended this place. From the scheduling process to the billing check out to follow up text messages/calls, this staff exceeded my expectations. Unfortunately I had to bring my cat in after a couple days from the first vet visit as she wasn't feeling well and the team provided quick and thorough care. The staff explained every bit of the process and the cost. They also gave me ample time to think over any decision before making them. I've shared my experiences with some friends who are long time pet owners outside of the area and they are absolutely blown away by the support I've received from this staff.

No chain corporation like VCA is ever going to put your pets over profit. First of all, I loved Dr. Brawley. He was very sweet and helpful and patient with my first cat ever. He clearly loves animals. But I took my animals to another clinic a while ago, and finally decided to write this. My complaint is with everyone else. I was constantly pushed and badgered to pay for unnecessary procedures, to pay for tests that weren't needed, and to buy their annual membership. A lot of the staff is quite rude and short. Specifically Brenda the receptionist and Dr. Morrill. VCA is owned by the same conglomerate that owns a poor quality pet food brand. When Dr. Morrill told me to buy that brand for my cat with kidney problems, I politely asked if she could recommend another one with the same health benefits and better nutrition, she got very rude. "What are you - a nutritionist?" I answered "no, but I know you're owned by the same company so I'm wondering if you can recommend another brand." She rolled her eyes and said "Ok, Dr. Google. I see."

2 stars because Kate called me back. Really mean person at least on phone calls… didn’t answer any questions and hung up when I asked them even the most basic of inquiries… Treated me like I’m some idiot. I do appreciate the call back Kate but not the attitude. If you don’t like your job maybe look for another. Hard night? Me too dear. I’d go to Lynnwood on 44th where she sent me :) from their report that’s where VCA sends all their patients when they don’t want to deal with people and they are fantastic plus Neveah there is a saint. I’d never ever go here unless a vet wants to respond to this review! Or phone calls!

I recently adopted a pet from Seattle Humane Society. They partner with VCA for a free 1st visit & up to $250 paid if the pet is sick with certain conditions within a 14 day time frame from the adoption date. I used this voucher/coupon as the new cat had eye discharge. The entire visit was a waste of time for me and the cat! The exam involved weighing the cat, sitting on the floor watching the cat walk and then the vet glanced at the cats eyes as she was looking up, and says OH she does have discharge. No instruments were used to look in the cats ears or eyes!!!!!! If she would have she would have noticed the discharge is light brown with a little red in it. Also, told me that her ears aren't red so she doesn't have an ear infection. I actually wanted to leave before the vet came in the room, as I was told that she was just finishing up with another patient. Just finishing up isnt me waiting an additional 25 minutes. EK.DVM must have received her degree from a gum ball machine, as she did nothing that a 2nd grader could have done. Incompetence at its best. First impressions are lasting impressions. I will NEVER return.

I’ve been using their phone payment method since the start of Covid to purchase our cat food. Easy! Then they bring it to you when you pull up for pick up. The staff has always been nothing less of amazing!
