We later found we were fully charged for these accessories. He also insisted we needed four phone lines—despite only having two phones—claiming it was “just on paper” and the only way to get a “free upgrade.” We paid $500 for what we were told were taxes, only to discover multiple unexpected charges on the itemized receipt. We then spent two hours on the phone with Verizon fixing the extra lines and lowering our bill. The lack of transparency and misleading information was unacceptable, and I hope other customers aren’t taken advantage of in the same way.
