My partner and I stopped in to the Charlottesville store off Rio with the mindset we were going to purchase two new phones. After being helped by someone who didn’t offer much other than to repeatedly try and sell us things we did not need (tv services/additional phone lines), we ended up leaving with one phone for myself, and my partner disheartened over arguing with customer service because of line transfer issues, all within the same carrier. Our main goal was to get her a phone since hers was having major issues and we were told it couldn’t be done without waiting 24 hours. Keep in mind, I came from a different carrier and it took no time at all to transfer it over. Flash forward to us finishing up grocery shopping and out of genuine curiosity, we decided to stop in at Ruckersville to see if we could get her set up. I will repeat myself: Earl Johnson is the man to see for all of your phone needs! Within five minutes, our unfortunate tale had been heard and understood with genuine care, we were informed of deals and promotions that weren’t even mentioned during our visit with the Charlottesville store, and we walked out in the end with two phones, two watches, and and iPad, and all for less than the one phone I had purchased previously, and after discounts and applicable trade-ins! That includes cases, chargers, car mounts, the works! Instead of my monthly bill meeting my budget, it saved me money to get MORE utilizing the knowledge Earl provided. Going to ruckersville and meeting Earl wasn’t like a transaction, it was like visiting a friend. We told stories, shared wisdom, and like any awesome friend would, he hooked us up. While we may have left Charlottesville disheartened, my partner and I left our interaction with Earl and the super nice lady that was helping him, feeling like kids with all our boxes on Christmas morning! 100/10 recommend visiting Ruckersville Verizon if you need to visit and in-store location. It will definitely be our preferred location moving forward!
