We are conveniently located in downtown Haymarket on Route 55 (Washington Street), with easy access to Gainesville, Bristow, Warrenton, and surrounding areas. We are a full-service facility offering wellness exams, vaccinations, hospitalization, surgeries, dental procedures, therapeutic laser treatments, digital dental radiology, ultrasound, and daytime emergency care, as well as boarding for cats and dogs.
Our hospital is accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA).

- TCTakran Tire coOct 22, 20255.0I took my dog to the VCA yesterday because he was in a lot of pain and hadn’t eaten or drunk anything for over 24 hours. It turned out that his paw was broken. Dr. Leepson and his nurse, Tone, did an amazing job taking care of him. Dr. Leepson is very professional and incredibly knowledgeable. I’ve been to many vets before, but none examined my dog as thoroughly as he did. The entire staff was also so kind and compassionate, which made a big difference during such a stressful time. I truly appreciate everything they did. Just one hour after we came home, my dog started eating and even running around again! I’m so grateful for their excellent care and dedication.
- PHPam HallSep 22, 20255.0I am not sure how many years ago we started bringing our cats, and now new kittens, to VCA in Haymarket but it was the best decision we could have made. We started with three (3) cats, two of which were older and had developed some health issues in their late years. There was never a question as to whether they were receiving the proper care or not with the wonderful staff that works at VCA. They worked tirelessly with us to help our two older cats live out their best lives possible. When our sweet boy got sick, they helped transition us to an internal medicine doctor to help him, which ultimately helped him to live several more months with us before we had to say goodbye Now in addition to the one loving cat we had left we have over the past 3 years added four more, including two kittens recently. There has never been a question of where they would receive their health care when we adopted them. You could not ask for better doctors in Dr Lucy or Dr Q. They are attentive and so very genuinely caring. Thank you to all the staff at VCA Haymarket for all you have done for us so far ~ looking forward to many more years of working together for our pets' health.
