    I had a rough experience at this Verizon location. I was waiting for a good 20 minutes before anyone said they’d be able to help me soon. Two other customers came in and were checked in and assisted before anyone even checked me in to the line. I had to interrupt an employee and ask when I would be seen and only then was I added back to the wait list. At this point I was incredibly frustrated so they had an employee come out from the back to help us. When the employee was helping us, she was constantly using her hands to take her retainer in and out of her mouth after which she took my phone and was changing the settings. So incredibly unsanitary and unprofessional. After waiting for over an hour she told me they don’t have my phone in stock and I need to do a phone upgrade by myself online and gave me back my phone that I did not want to touch at that point. Super disappointing experience.

    Last week, I would have gladly given this location 5 stars. The young woman who helped me set up my new phone was sweet, helpful, and made the process easy. Unfortunately, my husband’s phone different story, it wasn’t in stock at the time, so we made an appointment to come back a few days later to complete his setup which is what the young lady instructed us to do. When we returned, a different employee informed us that it would cost $29 to set up the phone. I explained that I hadn’t been charged for the same service just days earlier. His response? “Well, you should have been.” I then spoke to the manager, hoping for some understanding and explanation. Instead, I got nothing—not even an apology. He vaguely said it “could have been a promotion” but couldn’t explain why the promotion didn’t apply now or why the inconsistency in service. Seems if you purchase a phone with a promotion to set it up for free then when you receive the phone, even though not on the same day, due to them not having it in stock, the promotion should still apply to set it up for free when you bring it in, which is what we were told to do. After being loyal Verizon customers since the company began and spending a significant amount on new phones and accessories, this experience was extremely disappointing. Where is the customer service at this store? I will add, we’d heard of others having similar complaints with this specific location. Well, we sought out a different location, the Verizon store at 1018 W Sunset Blvd., it is awesome!!!! My husband took his phone in and they set it up for FREE even though we didn’t purchase our phones there. THAT is good customer service!
