- BCBrian CroninOct 8, 20255.0A little overdo, but a few weeks ago our aging Golden was struggling as he had liver cancer. Powder Paws were great and about all they could do was to make him comfortable with pain killer to help him rest. Due to some church manipulated draconian drug laws in Utah, we had issues getting the script filled. Long story short, one of their employees was willing and able to meet me at the UofU hospital to get a new script in time to get to the pharmacy before they closed. This was way and above the call of duty. She and the team are great.

But they never answer the phone and even if you have an appointment they make you wait for a long time, 30 minutes or more waiting every single time I had an appointment and that’s just the waiting time not including the time they are helping your pet.

The vet told her she needed to put him down because of masses in his stomach. I highly recommend getting a second opinion from a different vet clinic. When she took her dog else where she was told there was no masses and this was just arthritis. The dog now has pain meds and is eating fine. Recommending to put someone’s dog down when it’s not needed is so wrong and I hope people see this and know to get a second opinion!
