I just went to this veterinary hospital today, assuming I’d have to pay a huge lump sum of money and be waiting for hours on end, but was thoroughly pleased and more than happy to bring my baby here! They immediately took him back (suspected urinary blockage), and from then moved us into a room. After the initial assessment they suggested bloodwork and a urinalysis, which after talking to the veterinarian, and another employee(assuming the technician), we decided to do the urinalysis then depending on the results-move forward with the blood work, purely based on cost and necessity. He ended up only needing the urinalysis as well as antibiotics, anti nausea meds, and some anti inflammatory medication- thank god! I absolutely loved how knowledgeable, personable, and gentle/caring the staff (including front desk) was towards us, and our baby. After asking if we could, she even brought me to the back to see my baby and taught me how to palpate his bladder so I can know when I need to be on the lookout pertaining to his litter habits. The whole experience we’ve had here with everyone we encountered today was very pleasant and welcoming. Yes, it was more expensive than the normal vet, but I already knew that going in. Being a 24 year old living off of her own income, I feared for the worst, but it wasn’t nearly as much money I expected to have to scrape my wallet for. Thank you, VCA vets and staff, you really shined today for us and my soul baby.

We had to take our dog in and we did have to wait quite a bit but it was very busy but the staff and doctors were extremely wonderful. The vet didn't try to push test. She gave us our options, let us weigh in, and make a decision. We really appreciated her giving us peace of mind and making sure that we were spending unnecessary dollars.

I had to take my cat to this clinic urgently. During the treatment, my cat was burned, which is absolutely unacceptable and heartbreaking. Since then, I have tried calling them many times, and they never answer the phone or take responsibility. This was an emergency situation, and I trusted them with my pet’s life. What happened is traumatic, and the lack of communication afterward makes it even worse. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone. Please be very careful before bringing your pet here.

We had our cat at VCA for two days over the weekend while we were abroad because he had a urethral blockage. Our family took him there with a catheter already in place from our regular vet, lit their only job was to keep him under observation on IV fluids over the weekend. Shockingly, they placed our cat directly on a heating pad, which caused a severe burn—similar to a first-degree burn. We have spend over 4k in this vet and at the end they BURNED my cat. Also, they told me he pulled his catheter out by himself while he was passed out and on a fentanyl patch. Which caused even more $ on us. All moneys are aside we dropped our cat with literally catheter and all of the necessary tests done. Once again only job was to keep him SAFE and on IV and they manage to burn a cat. I just can't wrap my head around this how it could be possible. This happened in mid-December, and he’s still in very poor condition from the injury. It’s heartbreaking to think that you trust a place to keep your beloved pet safe, only for them to cause such harm.
