VCA Elgin Family Pet Center is proud to serve Elgin, TX and the surrounding communities including Taylor, Bastrop and Manor. We support our clients with preventive care, wellness programs, basic or advanced dentistry, hands free radiology, and soft tissue surgery. We offer same day and drop off appointments. Our friendly, knowledgeable veterinarians, veterinary assistants, and caring support staff look forward to caring for your pet at every stage of their life. Their thorough knowledge ensures that all patients receive the best care. We are also committed to maintaining the highest AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) standards. We are open Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm. We also provide boarding and bathing services.

The office requires you to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your appointment, but then you still have to wait in the lobby 20-30 minutes before you proceed to the exam room. I had my pet's nails trimmed once, but he got hurt to the point of bleeding on my arm when he was returned to me. The meds prescribed to my pet costs double what was charged at another clinic and were not effective. I moved from out of state, and this was the most convenient location. Due to their outrageous costs, and mediocre treatments, I am forced to find other "professional" care for my pet. Why keep going to a service which is financially draining, and not effective in your pet's treatment?
