  Fist off, THIS IS NOT VERIZON! This is Cellular sales. They are a scam company masquerading as Verizon. I went in Nov 22nd to add a line to my account. We wanted to port in my partners prepaid number to my account. We were told that was impossible and needed to set up a whole new number so we ended up doing that, the agent could not set up the new phone, kept saying that his iPhone 13 was no longer compatible with any new phone and he had to start fresh and set it up himself. We left paying $77.03 for the taxes on the new phone and $60 to keep his old phone (the trade in value) since he could not transfer any data from it. I called Verizon the next day to make sure this was true, they said no and fixed everything (including our bill, he had put us on the highest plan which I didn’t ask for not needed). But I had to go back and return the phone where I bought it and Verizon mailed me a new one. When I returned the phone was met with questions, hostility and the agent throwing a tantrum. The refund was for the taxes on the phone and I asked about the $60 I paid to keep the old phone. One agent scribbled a note and said “dont worry you’ll get your money”. Before I left the first agent shoved $60 from his pocket into my hand and yelled “here! Because I don’t know what else to do!” They said I would get a check in the mail for the $77 but I do not. After calling their customer support I was sent a check for $17! After four other calls and being given three different stories I was finally told “you’re not getting anything from us!” Do not go here! They’re crooks, scammers, thieves.

  So I try to call this place and he hung up on me twice and now won’t pick up the phone. You do not deserve to have a job. Whoever is this person working at this establishment, rude and disrespectful.

  Drake was a breath of fresh air. He was informative and took care of our needs . Newport is the place to go. Tried verizon in pigeon forge that place is a joke (anti -customer). Drake was awesome had an answer for all my questions. We felt like we were at home . Drake was very pleasant to deal with. Thanks Drake. Y'all have a great man there.

  I decided to recently switch from a family plan to an individual plan. As I was doing so the young boy who got me signed up with the new plan also stated that if I traded my old phone in with the set up of a new plan it would be free today. We’ll fast forward to this previous Tuesday. Tabitha from cellular sales at the Verizon store messaged me trying to see how I was liking the plan so far. I informed her of the shady business tactics that was being used and how I felt like the young boy was just saying whatever to get a sale. She has yet to respond to my concerns nor do I believe she will. 10/10 do not recommend going to the Newport Verizon store.
