- MPMargret PackAug 30, 20251.0I want to take a minute to warn people of this store and the service my parents received. After purchasing a cell phone we could not get it to work. It was showing no service and no service provider. I personally spent an hour on the phone with the Verizon company we still couldn’t get it to work. She told me to take it back to the store to get a new SIM card. I called the store yesterday and spoke to the store manager (Alec) to explain to him what the lady at Verizon had said because I know my mom is not tech savvy and I wanted to make sure she was taken care of. He got an attitude with me and said that it worked when they left the store. Well I let that go but today is a different story. My mom was in the store waiting for them to fix the phone (after Alec had called me to ask a question that I didn’t know the answer to all because he didn’t want to call Verizon because it would take a while to deal with them). Her and another lady were standing in the store talking about Jesus and how things have gotten in the world and Alec being such a great employee actually told my mom to shut-up. I called the store and he said he didn’t say shut up that he just said to stop talking about politics because they didn’t allow that in the store…. He said we are a public company and we can decide what can’t be talked about in our store. When I asked about a manager, he said that he was the manager. So I asked about a district manager he first said that they did not have one then I basically called him on the lie he said that she (Holly Quinn) did not have a number for me to contact but I could email her. Now I usually don’t get online and do stuff like this but for someone to tell MY Mom to shut up just does not sit well with me. So before you give this place your business ask yourself would you want your mom treated this way? Or even yourself treated like this?
