Was prepared to spend about 1500$ on two pets to prep for leaving usa for a long trip but they literally tried to fleece me with tons of unnecessary suggestions, labs, procedures, while also NOT prescribing enough meds for our trip, which was the MAIN goal To add insult to injury, they suggested ANESTHESIA based surgical teeth cleaning on my THREE year old corgi. Paid for visit and left. Wont be back. Total money grab and disingenuous staff. One star.....BOO

- CCCooper ChapmanDec 13, 20255.0I wanted to thank VCA in Conway. I called first thing this morning and they didn't have an emergency vet there and didn't have any appointments. At the time, I didn't realize how dire the situation was for my 18 yr old sog, Pearl. I thought that I could cherish my dog all weekend and go on Monday to see her regular vet but then I realized that I was being selfish and my beautiful little girl was slowly dying. About an hour later I called VCA back and explained the situation. They could have easily said no, just go to the emergency vet but they didn't. They worked us in. Once we got there we were immediately taken back to "the room ". Both the vet tech and Dr Leavis could not have been kinder. They talked me through it all, no rush and made sure that I understood everything. When I thanked Dr Leavis for working us in, she said that they would never turn away anyone trying to do what was best for their pet. I was told that there was no rush, to take all of the time that I needed with my girl. It was a devastating day but the kindness and love for animals that was shown to me by the staff at VCA was incredible. I will always be thankful for the staff there for helping me so what was right for my baby girl.

She was so kind, thorough and humorous throughout escapade with the rock eating puppy. She didn’t push any unnecessary treatments and did only what was necessary for care of our rock hound. We definitely feel as if we have found THE VET for our crew and our thankful for her and the staff at VCA for taking care of us. Happy to report Darwin is back to his bossy self ordering everyone around the house to pick him up.
