The degree of care that I felt was provided us during our visit was simply astronomical, from the receptionist to the techs, to the Dr. They have our absolute trust going forward, NO DOUBTS. She was able to determine that my dog had very low platelets and the cause was a rare parasite she saw on a blood smear. The parasite attacks the body's blood cells, so without her being able to determine this, he would not have survived. We got treatment for my dog quickly, and his blood work is finally starting to look normal. Our regular vet in Philadelphia was so impressed with her diagnostic skills. On top of everything, she had such a sweet disposition and took the time to listen to my concerns. I am forever grateful we were lucky enough to have her be our emergency vet that day!
